Appalachian Christmas Outreach - December 12, 2015
During August, NCBC collected 72 backpacks full of school supplies, food, clothes, and a bible to be distributed in the Applachian Region as part of the NC Baptist's Appalachian Christmas Outreach. 41 of the backpacks were sent to the Shelby Mission Camp to be distributed by churches in the Appalachian Region. 31 backpacks were taken to Bluefield by the NCBC Mission Team and distributed at Meet Us At The Cross Church. 9 members of the NCBC Mission Team went to distribute backpacks and feed lunch to the kids in Bluefield. Caswell Work Weeks - November 1-6, 2015
In November 2015, the NCBC Mission Team sent 9 members to participate in the Caswell Work Weeks as part of the work done by Caldwell Baptists at the NC Baptist Assembly at Fort Caswell. While there our team of 9 helped to complete 30 projects around the campus. On Thursday night our team headed to Wilmington to prayer walk the community where Restoration Church is being planted. Our team is pictured above after prayerwalking in Wilmington.
West Virginia Mission Trip - August 14-16, 2015
In August 2015, 26 members of the NCBC Mission Team spent a weekend in Bluefield, WV. The team served at Meet Us At The Cross, alongside Pastor Andre Jones, as part of NCBC's strategic National Missions Partnership. On Saturday the team put on a one day VBS event and ministered to 20 local kids. On Sunday the team worshiped with the church and children from VBS. During their down time some of the team swam in the hotel pool and others fellowshiped. The NCBC Mission Team has been invited back to serve again in 2016! Caswell Work Weeks - November 9-14, 2014
Thomas Beane, Scott Mise, and Pastor Nicholas Wilson participated in the Caswell Work Weeks at Fort Caswell as part of a team from the Caldwell Baptist Association. They worked on ramps, plumbing fixtures, and other assorted tasks to help the maintenance staff catch up on much needed repairs.
